The Board of Trustees authorized the appointment of Zena Taylor and John Homier, as well as future chairpersons of the Investment Committee, as Authorized Agents/Individuals and Control Persons for all of its accounts at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Such individual appointments shall automatically terminate when that person is no longer a member of Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church or is no longer a chairperson of Emerson’s Investment Committee. Such appointments can also be terminated by action of the Board of Trustees.

The Board authorized John Homier and Zena Taylor (the current co-chairpersons of Emerson’s Investment Committee) to create separate accounts at Charles Schwab and Co. for both the Mission and Purpose Fund and the Kilgore Fund.

The Board Approved the following motion: No Church Official or Staff is permitted to release the personal, non-public information of any member or friend of the church without prior consent from the person(s) whose information is being released.

The Board approved Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church’s participation in the Houston Area LGBTQ+ Opinions, Voices & Experiences (L.O.V.E.) Survey.
