The Pledge Campaign May Be Over…

…but our beloved community will continue Growing in Love! Thanks to your generosity, we raised at least $504,953, which is 98% of our goal of $515,000 – and we are still expecting a couple more pledges!

Volunteers in many capacities were essential to making this stewardship campaign successful. Laurie H and Alejandra P (the Stewardship Committee for 2026) would like to give a huge round of applause to all who contributed to the campaign, both with their pledges and with their time and talent. Many members and friends helped pull off the Fellowship Supper that kicked off the campaign; they were recognized in an earlier blog post, but we’d like to say THANK YOU again!

In addition, so many people generously shared their time and skills throughout the campaign. With her extensive PR and communications experience, Kris T prepared our written materials. Jill R and Ann M spread the word through eblasts and the website, respectively. Ruth W created our beautiful logo and related materials.

Ron J, Beryl K, and Deborah W helped make quick work of folding and stuffing the materials to be distributed and mailed. Torie C shared her family’s experience as relative newcomers to Emerson. Carol T, Larry H, Sarah B, and Beryl K spread gratitude, writing thank you notes to all who pledged. Linda C, Patti W, Bill H, Terry R, and Deborah W served as Calling Stewards, providing friendly reminders and facilitating the pledge process.

Throughout the entire campaign, Ale G and Jill R processed and kept track of pledges. And, of course, Rev. Ed wore many hats, and the Board and Finance Committee provided support. THANK YOU ALL! (And if we’ve left any names out, my apologies – and THANK YOU!)

We enter 2026 as a strong and growing community. We look forward to a year of spiritual nourishment, community, continued growth, and standing for justice in our difficult world. We are grateful for each and every one of you who makes this community what it is.

With gratitude,

Laurie & Alejandra
