Your ideas are helping the Long Range Planning Task Force come up with options for strategic planning.  All options are still on the table.  The LRPTF recommendations will likely include, but are not limited to, recommending work on increasing non-pledge income to bring our budget into balance. Many of your suggestions will require more study and an implementation plan. But we don’t need to wait; we can start implementing many of your suggestions right now!

Some committees have already taken successful first steps, such as the Faith Forward program.  Steps to clarify the membership path are underway. The Communications committee is continuing to reach out with Social Media and is planning videos for the website.  We will soon add a new tenant, Bilingual Education Institute.

What are some first steps that you could take?  A simple one is to attend the Sunday programs in person, if you can.  An empty sanctuary on Sunday morning is not very attractive.  Participate in programs.  Help start some new programs. Welcome people you don’t know. Let’s make progress towards our goals; can’t wait until the last minute.
