Sunday Service with Rev. Ed Proulx – Our Seven Principles

Sunday Service with Rev. Ed Proulx – Are We Dust, or Are We Clay?
The Torah tells us that we are dust and unto dust we shall return. That may be true, but maybe we are also clay, moldable into many forms.

Sunday Service with David Oliverio – Embracing Pluralism: Finding Common Ground
David Oliverio will speak about finding a peaceful coexistence of different interests, worldviews, convictions, and lifestyles, drawing from his many years of experience on both sides of the fence, first as a Pentecostal preacher and then later a secular Humanist speaker and activist, and from his 17 years as an in-home personal trainer, entering all types of people’s homes and discovering the many commonalities of humanity.

Sunday Service with Rev. Ed Proulx – Christopher Columbus or Niccolo Macchiavelli?

Sunday Service with Rev. Ed Proulx – Halloween, Samhain, All Saints and All Souls
Sunday Service with Rev. Ed Proulx – Halloween, Samhain, All Saints and All Souls
We celebrate the time of year when the veil between this world and other worlds are the thinnist. In the 9th century, the Roman Catholic Church shifted the date of All Saints' Day to 1 November, while 2 November later became All Souls' Day. Over time, it is believed that Samhain, All Saints and All Souls influenced each other, and eventually merged into the modern concept of Halloween.
