You are invited!

You are more than invited! We urge you to be part of Emerson’s Ministry Start Up Workshop, Saturday morning, March 9.  

Because this workshop will chart our course for the future, your voice is essential in ensuring Emerson’s success. During our time together, our members, minister, board and staff will establish clarity in congregational foundations, roles and responsibilities as we embark on a new collaborative ministry. 

Two members of the UUA Congregational Life Staff, Lillian Drab-Braddick and Cameron Young, will guide us in this important work. They will meet with our board on Friday night, facilitate the workshop on Saturday and lead us in transformative worship on Sunday.

It will be a weekend of learning, growth and grounding for all of us at Emerson.

But wait! We have something we’d like to ask you to do BEFORE you arrive on Saturday.  Please review this website that the Southern Region has put together just for us here at Emerson.  There is some reading and, MOST IMPORTANT, we’re asking you to view the linked video and do your homework before you arrive.
