How long will the concert be? About an hour. The Emerson Music Department will perform a limited selection of Messiah favorites. (We promise—you won’t have to sit through the entire 2.5 hour work!) Will it be a family-friendly evening? It sure will! Our performers range over several generations, and singing along makes the music come alive! (Also, check out the last question.) Do we HAVE to sing? Nope. Feel free to sit back and listen. Only sing along if your spirit says sing! How much do tickets cost? Absolutely nothing! Can you believe it? Will there be cookies? Yes! A reception follows the performance. Cookies AND punch (some call it wassail) and maybe even those little cheese cubes!
