In a variety of ways, RE Coordinator Shari Wright is a rarity. First, she is a native Houstonian. Second, the former amateur athlete holds the distinction of NPC bodybuilding champion in El Paso for the lightweight and overall divisions. Third, she honed her journalistic skills as an Assignment Editor at a local NBC affiliate before making her corporate mark.
The career journey has taken the Drake University graduate from Chief Experience Officer at a healthcare startup to Service Delivery Operations Team Lead for the California Department of Public Health’s Covid-19 Response Project at Accenture. Driven by the professional obsession of transforming traditional consumer transactions into exceptional customer experiences, the Servant Leader is Customer Experience Program Advisor at Our Lady of the Lake University – Houston Campus.
An advocate for excellence, Shari is proud of co-founding a Job Club program at a local church to strategically address the challenges and obstacles underserved communities face in employment. Often assumed to be an educator versus the daughter of one, the avid reader was born to serve and generously invests in the success of others. She considers mentoring a sense of duty, firmly planted in her DNA.
