Alejandra Gonzalez
Congregational Administrator
Originally hailing from South Texas, Alejandra found her way to Emerson in the summer of 2016, drawn by the opportunity to serve as the Office Administrator for Communications. In the fall of 2022, Alejandra transitioned to the role of Congregational Administrator. This shift was not only a professional progression but also a crucial step in preparing for the retirement of a church’s longtime staff member. In her current capacity, Alejandra blends her previous responsibilities with new tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the church’s facilities, managing calendars and rentals, and liaising with vendors daily.
Beyond her dedication to Emerson, Alejandra finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, indulging in salsa dancing, exploring the vibrant city of Houston, and honing her Mexican culinary skills in the kitchen. As someone who thrives on organization, Alejandra’s passion for planning extends beyond her professional life; she delights in crafting travel itineraries for her next adventure, fueling her wanderlust.
An early start in the spotlight shaped Alejandra’s work ethic from a young age. Alongside her sisters, she captivated audiences as part of a talented musical group featured on a children’s bilingual television show aired across South Texas and North Mexico. Despite the demands of rehearsals and performances, Alejandra and her sisters excelled not only academically but also as performers, becoming recognizable figures in their hometown.
As Alejandra continues to journey alongside the Emerson community, her dedication, passion, and vibrant spirit uplift those around her, embodying the essence of unity and service central to Emerson.
