As members of TXUUJM (Texas UU Justice Ministry), members of Emerson UU Church have access to an amazing resource, a course developed by the Transforming Hearts Collective on best practices for transgender inclusion in congregations. Each of the course’s six sessions includes a lecture, supplemental resources that take the learning deeper, reflection questions, and a quiz. One of the benefits of this course is that you can either screen the lectures for a group to watch together and then discuss, or individuals can watch the lectures on their own and then meet up with others for discussion.
