Sunday School! Each Sunday we begin in the 11 AM worship service with our families before heading to activities. October 2 – As we begin funding our future, we’re talking about how religious communities share their time, treasure, and talents – sometimes deliciously – in this case, creating a lovely fruit salad! October 9 – Our monthly theme is Courage – a courage that is sometimes grand gestures, but more often tiny acts. We’ll create badges of Everyday Courage for ourselves and to share with the congregation. October 16 – How do we remember and honor our ancestors and those we’ve loved? October 23 – Creating tabletop zen gardens and learning about succulents! October 30 – Multigenerational worship service celebrating our ancestors – YES, ALL AGES ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR COSTUMES! Beyond Sundays: October 1 – Church Auction and Variety Show, 6:30 pm in Westwood Hall October 2 – Parents & Grandparents small group meeting with our Ministerial Search team, after service October 8 – Campus Cleanup, indoor and out, 9 AM to Noon October 22 – Beyond Categorical Thinking, a workshop as we prepare to welcome a new minister next year! 9 AM to 12:30, childcare provided We learn, we serve, and we create community together!
