Scope
These sessions will cover the Prophets of the Hebrew Bible (Christian Old
Testament) as well as several examples of Wisdom Literature, including
Proverbs, Psalms, Job, and Ecclesiastes. Text material, including suggested
scriptural reading and discussion questions, will be sent out via email
each week, as well as the Zoom link to attend. The sessions will highlight
discussion and the development of community learning during this six week
period.
Materials
All that is needed is a good translation of the Hebrew Bible (Christian Old
Testament). All are acceptable, but the New Revised Standard Version, NIV,
or the Jewish Study Bible (from the Jewish Publication Society) are preferred.
All other materials will be provided.
