The UU pop trio from Austin, Texas, fronted by Reverend Erin Walter, will be our special guest this Sunday. They will fill our sanctuary with music to move your soul. Please join us for this lucky date for an all-music service. Parker Woodland is an activist indie rock band led by UU Rev. Erin Walter, the minister and executive director of the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry (TXUUJM). While Rev. Erin is on sabbatical this fall — and at a time when UU values and musical inspiration are needed in Texas and everywhere — the band is embarking on its first tour out of Texas. Parker Woodland is also writing and preparing to record their next album, addressing the many urgent justice needs of Texas, the nation, and the world as they write new music.
Our Worship Services are weekly reflections weaving together our own thoughts and experiences with music, beauty, poetry, and words that both comfort and challenge. Our programs for all ages inspire us, and awaken us to our capacities to make a difference in our own lives and in the world.
