The traveling photojournalism exhibit Focus on Abortion: AMERICANS SHARE THEIR STORIES has been presented at more than 25 sites across the country, stirring profound reactions.

·     “Storytelling is a lot more moving and also a lot more indisputable than dry statistics.”

·     “Incredibly powerful.”

·     “These stories created a deep connection between myself and the people sharing their stories. This made the politics of the issue fall away, allowing me to more fully understand the uniquely individual situations that surround choices regarding abortion. Viewing the exhibit as a Texan brought a stark realization of the loss of our right for self determination within our own moral or faith understanding.”

The exhibit’s stories of diverse Americans who have had an abortion or are close to the abortion experience and related events highlight the connection between abortion access, religious freedom and church-state separation.
