We will continue our discussion of the pursuit of power in human history by examining “Brave New World”  by Aldous Huxley, a novel that depicts a future authoritarian society based on rigid community, identity, and stability. We will also address Huxley’s subsequent work “Brave New World Revisited”, a commentary on topics in the earlier book. We will use it as a basis for group discussion concerning how these ideas relate to our country and the wider world today.
