Recently we brainstormed as a congregation – what do we teach at Emerson? What do we learn? You can see our answers in the word art to the right, and check out the posters at church if you’d like a larger view!
This first exercise is part of a wider conversation in Unitarian Universalist congregations – what does religious education/faith development look like in the 21st century? Stay tuned for next steps, and in the meantime, here are a few of the things happening:
Professional childcare has resumed at Emerson, 9:45 to 12:15 most Sunday mornings!
This month we’re launching child-friendly Saturday afternoon social time for all ages in Westwood Hall and outside as weather allows, January 14th and 28th.
And at 11 AM we’ll begin in worship services and head to Sunday School around 11:15 AM.
January 8: Creating a stepping stone as we step into 2023 together
January 15: How do we build a community for all? A sandbox activity with lessons of equity and welcome
January 22: Finding our Center – an all-ages worship service
January 29: Finding our Center – balance games and skills for our lives

We learn, we serve, and we create community together!
