Welcome to Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church

Our faith, Unitarian Universalism, is a spiritually alive and justice-centered religion. Unitarian Universalists search for truth along many paths. Rather than basing our religion on specific beliefs, we gather around shared moral values that include the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We believe that our likenesses are much more significant than our differences.

If you choose to visit us and attend a Sunday worship service, it will likely feel familiar to you. Services are lead by our ordained co-ministers, Becky and Mark Edmiston-Lange. One or both of them usually give the sermon along with various readings and seasonal observances. The service is accompanied by religious music ranging from organ to rock music, from hymns to choral songs.

Emerson offers an expansive religious education program for adults, youth and children. And we have study groups, volunteer opportunities in the community as well as on campus, fellowship groups and much, much more. Our nursery provides care for infants and toddlers during Sunday activities and is staffed by childcare professionals whom we have screened.

Click the email link at left or give us a call if you would like to speak by phone—we'll be happy to contact you. And please visit us soon—you are always welcome. Feel free to explore our church, our congregation and our faith in your own way. Or if you prefer to begin with a guided tour, please browse the links provided at the upper left-hand column.
