Special Social Action Collection: Mothers for Clean Air
Adult Ed Why should religion be talked about at the office? Our speaker on May 18 will be Eliot Gershenson, President and CEO Interfaith Ministries. When people talk about diversity they think of ethnicity and gender, not religion; it has become the elephant in the room. In Houston, where over 65% of folks belong to a congregation, and many see themselves as religious, the way they define themselves is wrapped up in their faith. When we sublimate anything about ourselves, things normally go awry, because not talking about how we look at things doesn't allow us to be truly who we are.
