What Once Was Plaited Cannot be Unplaited

The title comes from May Sarton’s poem, All Souls, about the enduring nature of love, even from those who have gone before.  On this Mothers’ Day I offer some reflections about my own Mother and how much she is a part of me still even though she died twenty years ago this Spring.  Appropriately, we also will be Commissioning the newest members of our Lay Pastoral Ministry Team.
