Let’s get together and practice. Begin a meditation practice by doing it in silence and in the presence of others. We will follow a simple plan: 20 minutes of silent sitting meditation, …10 minute break… followed by another 20 minutes of silent sitting. Afterward, we will share tea. You are welcome to practice any form of meditation you prefer (mindfulness, focus on the breath, insight, centering prayer, etc.) You can sit on a chair, the floor, your own cushion (please bring); whatever is comfortable. The group is not affiliated with any one style of practice or meditation teacher. We welcome people from a wide variety of backgrounds and spiritual practices.
