The Political and Religious Heritage of Rome
Mike Condit

Considerations concerning Rome’s historical legacy often center on its law, administrative and military systems, architecture and monuments, and even its aqueducts. We will discuss Rome’s political and social heritage particularly as it relates to defined universal values, with our focus being on the Roman Republic and its analogy to our current situation. We will then consider possibly the greatest heritage of the Roman Empire for subsequent Western Civilization – religion.
