The Religious Heritage of Rome

Discussions concerning Rome’s historical legacy often center on its law, administrative and military systems, architecture and monuments, and even its aqueducts. However, the greatest heritage of Rome may well have been religious. This includes the Roman views on paganism and the way Rome handled the religions of the people they conquered. But the greatest legacy of the Roman Empire is Christianity and Islam. We will discuss some of these historical and religious aspects of Rome.
